M.A.A.A. Clubhouse (Montreal Gymnasium)
The Montreal Gymnasium was built in 1859 on the south east corner of Mansfield and what is now de Maisonneuve Blvd.
In 1881 the Montreal Bicycle Club joined together with the Lacrosse and Snowshoe Clubs to form the Montreal Amateur Athletic Association (M.A.A.A.) and to purchase the Montreal Gymnasium Building for use as a joint Clubhouse.
