The two person tricycle within the composite is called a Sociable. Perhaps it is one that the Montreal Bicycle Club bought for use by it's members as reported in Outing Magazine (Volume 3 pg 387)


"Several of the bicycle clubs have, notably Germantown, Ixion and Montreal, have purchased the "Sociable" tricycles and keep them as part of the club property, for use by the members.  It is a fashion well set, and likely to be followed."
